TNHS BATCH 85 Mini Reunion |
The Arrival
|
Joebeth Bongares-Brown, her husband Ken, and kids - CJ and Jaden, were the first to arrive on Thursday, April 3. It was a 4-hour flight from North Carolina. Next were Celerina and Sean coming all the way from Saudi Arabia, it was a long 16-18 hours flight! |

Then Maric, Malou, her mom and some friends (Marlon & Paul) from California,
followed by Miriam Cabiles Dalindin, husband Art, kids Yzmajel, Yzeaj, Yzelaj and parents also from
California. Next were Mavic Banares Fuerte, husband Ben, kids Beverly, Jennifer, Lindsey,
and her mom also from California.
Natch, husband Romeo, her mom and daughter Isabella plane in from Pennsylvania.
Adelle Carido Gokim, husband Jojo, kids Jared, Janelle, & Jamie with Adelle's parents, sister Vicky
and cousin from California then preggie Emy Macasinag Aguirre with husband Susano from California. |

First Day (April 5)

Merienda prepared by Miriam's family. Grabe ang sarap ng pansit!!!! Reminiscing of the past...we watched Ken's video which is a slideshow of pictures of the past.. kakatuwa yung video na ginawa ni Ken, Oh my God Joebeth! How can you keep all those pictures?!!!! Grabe, pataasan ng mga buhok ang mga babae nung 1980s...pero okay pala kasi at least naalala namin na once in our life, mga payat kami!!!! HAHAHAHA..... |

Maric & Malou, mom and friends (Marlon & Paul) watched Blue Man Group at The Venetian. Grabe, iniwan kami sa hotel! Then guys played poker and…more chikahan and catching up naman for the girls...di pa rin nagbabago lahat! We retreated early kasi mga pagod plus considering the time differences ng mga pinanggalingan namin, medyo mahirap yung first day! |

Second Day (April 6)
|
Some had breakfast at the Desert Rose Hotel… while some enjoyed a fun drive along the strip. Sedric, Malou & Paul enjoyed the rush on the roller coaster at NY Hotel. Then we had the picnic by the pool (barbecue, ice cream, hotdogs). Thanks to Adelle and Jojo for the best barbecue we've ever tasted! Miriam & Mavic for all the things that you prepared and provided to the group. Parang West Coast and nag host ng reunion since sila talaga ang nag asikaso ng lahat ng food namin! Mini Reunion Batch Meeting It was crazy seeing each other again! We did a lot of catching up and finally we also talked about our upcoming 2010 reunion. Here are the details ----
Malou will open a bank account for Batch 85 if we don’t have one. $240 was collected.
Details on our bank account will be sent once opened so anyone can contribute to the account. President Rick Gascon, overall Treasurer Rey Bragais, US Chapter Treasurer Malou Moran Burce will be authorized to do any transactions with the bank. The group elected officers for our US Chapter President: Sedric Bron Suggestions for our 2010 reunion - if possible June - Aug 2010 since bakasyon ang mga bata dito sa U.S. multi-day event (2 to 3 days?)

After the meeting, some of us went to Jollibee & Chowking. Grabe, sarap sarap sarap!!! Nakaka miss talaga!!! Then we had our Big Night out!!!! I’m sure nakita niyo kung gaano kami nag enjoy!!!!! Imagine this…nasa 1st, 2nd & 3rd row kami!!!

Emy & Susano headed home to Montclaire, CA, Sedric to Newport Coast, CA, Malou to San Diego, CA, Adelle & Family to Cerritos, CA, Mirriam & Family to Rancho Cucamonga, Mavic & Family to Arcadia, CA, Gary & Chie's Family Phoenix, Arizona, Vangie & Family to Illinois, Cel & Sean stayed for one more night at the Bellagio then to, Phoenix before going back to Saudi Arabia. Joebeth & Family stayed with a friend for 2 nights before heading home to Carolina. Natch & Family stayed for two more nights at the Caesars Palace before flying back to Philadelphia. Coming Soon - Mini reunion (again) in 2009!
How about Arizona or The East Coast? Thanks to Malou Moran-Burce for coordinating the hotel accommodation of the group in Las Vegas. |
